Course Newsletter & Covid-19 update

Covid-19
To make the course as safe as possible, for those wishing to play golf, during the crisis we have:
* Removed sand bags
* Removed rakes from bunkers (please smooth the sand with your club)
* Decommissioned ball washers and drinking fountains
* Closed the air blowers at the 18th
We have also decided to insert hole cups upside down to remove the need to put your hand down into the hole to retrieve the ball.
Topdressing
Because of the Covid-19 situation, and to avail of current weather conditions, we have decided to topdress the fairways with sand next Monday 23rd March instead of Monday 6th April.
The course will therefore be closed next Monday to facilitate this work.
Back 9 Greens
These greens will be open for play this weekend. We again stress the importance of not crossing the ropes at the newly turfed areas.
Back 9 Bunkers
Contractors Dar will be back in Hermitage next month to complete the bunker work. We still hope to have the bunkers open for play by the 1st May.
